Restoration + Seismic

As the construction industry evolves, we have seen an increased interest in maintaining structures and preserving the historical value in existing construction. Two main areas that relate to masonry are seismic upgrading of structural concrete block masonry and restoration of finished masonry, such as cast and/or carved stone as well as the range of brick veneers and walls as heritage projects.

History by Experience

The team at Trademark has experience in wide range of seismic upgrade and restoration style projects. Many schools and institutions choose to upgrade over full new construction as a way to maintain budgets and environmental standards. These typically involve seismic upgrades of existing structural masonry walls and may also include some feature masonry restoration work.

Other examples come in the form of high profile public venues and government building such as the heritage house seen below.
